Jan 9, 2007 - United Methodism 101 and Other Free On-line Courses - Help to  Become a More effective Christian and Church Member
You can enroll in the winter session of UM101 for free if you do it now!  It is usually $12.00.  Participants can access the class on their own time schedule any time until February 15th.  This is an on-line, interactive, multimedia course about the basics of the United Methodist Church.  It is designed for new United Methodists and anyone wanting to know more about the denomination, as well as long-time United Methodists who would like to check their basic knowledge of the Church.  The course can be completed in three hours, but most participants take more time in order to participate more fully.  To register go to http://training.umcom.org

You will also find information about other courses.  The "Open Hearts Welcoming Training" on-line course explores the basics of the Advertising and Welcoming Ministry of the United Methodist Church.  Start or improve advertising and welcoming ministries and help your church live the promise of "Open hearts, open minds, open doors" by participating in this e-learning opportunity.  The registration for the next session will begin in mid-January, 2007.
