The following is excerpted from an e-mail received in response to an inquiry from the church:

"I’ve looked through our archives and pulled up a few items that you might be interested in.  The windows were designed by Marguerite Gaudin, one of our lead designers at the time.  I’ve included two biographical items [biography, obituary] for your records.

"According to the contract, which was signed on the 3rd of September 1967, the 12 nave windows were designed, fabricated, and installed for the sum of $7,800.00. The single façade rose window was designed, fabricated and installed for $500.00.  The windows were executed in 1” faceted glass dalles cast in an epoxy resin matrix.

"I’ve included a proposed iconography, dated January 26, 1967 that describes three ideas for the stained glass program in the church.  You might find this interesting.  I’ve also included a scan of a letter written by Raymond L Rivell.  Mr. Rivell, I believe, was the sales representative for this job.  The letter explains changes that were made to the black and white preliminary designs, as per the stained glass committee’s request.  You will also find a letter from Bishop Lloyd C. Wicke, addressed to Henry Lee Willet describing his visit to Bellmore United Methodist Church.
